How to update time on a linux machine using NTP and command line

To update the date and time of a linux machine using command line with the NTP command, you can use the following command:
"ntpdate -u vicrm008.net.gov.bc.ca"
In the above example, the time and date of the linux machine would be update to the same time and date as on the router vicrm008
