If you are not able to access your filer using telnet, ssh or filerview, then check that the trusted.hosts option is setup right.

Type "options trusted.hosts" (without quotes) and it should return eithe the value of a * or with the list of IP addresses of the trusted machines from where you want to SSH, Telnet or connect using Filerview from.

If the output is a "-" then it means these methods of connecting are disabled
